Display shows short with no valves connected
I have a Hardie Controller (Part # 675401). It has 15 stations. The LCD goes from "On", to "Off", to "Short". I disconnected all the wires to the valve stations including the common. The display still shows the same sequence for most stations. Is the electronic board defective or is the cable between the board and the display panel in the door defective.

Just to eliminate the obvious first... is the cable correctly plugged in? Some devicesd its impossible to plug one in incorrectly... others it takes a real effort to make sure its done right. No bent pins or anyhting like a strand of wire that shouldn't be there?
