    EER shows on the display
    T-stat regularly displays EER, am I in trouble?. No manual available as we are the second or third owners..

    ERR probably stands for Error.

    If we knew more details of the t-stat, such as make and model number, perhaps a manual could be found.

    Getting a manual for a stat is a simple deal. Google the brand name and model.
