    Gallstones
Was told I had gallstones yesterday and needed surgery. I woke up this morning with severe abdominal pain which brought on back pain and nausea. It's been 5 hours and the pain is not as bad as it was to begin with should I go to the er? Still having mild pain and a bit of pain in middle of chest.

Welcome to the wonderful world of gallstones. If you go to the ER during an attack they might be able to schedule your surgery for that day or in the next day. Until you have surgery this is going to be your life. Sorry.
