We dropped a pump downa weel when we were trying to pull it. How do we get it out?
My dad and I were pulling a pump for a costumer and the pump slipped and dropped down a well that is 240 feet deep. Is there a way we can get it out?

Not very easily. Was the piping attached? It is probably buried in the bottom. You might try a grapple hook but even 240 ft. of cable is going to be very heavy. Might have to bite the bullet and buy your customer a new pump.

If this were my screwup I would fashion a strong grappling hook and go fishing. Good luck, Tom
