I have this great window fan, Lakewood HV-18-WR, but the dial that controls the speed and direction broke off. For awhile I was able to reach in and grab the metal stub with a pliers and turn the control that way, but the metal has now worn too much for the pliers to grab, so I need to find a replacement switch. Any ideas? Have been searching the internet with no luck, except that I saw two postings from a year ago in this category about this particular fan, which led me to join ASK ME so I could ask the community for ideas, and to follow up on those posts. “James1974” was going to send one of these fans with a dead motor to “Betrich43” so he could follow the wiring to rewire his fan, and for parts. Is there anyway that I can contact Betrich43 to see if he has an extra switch? When I've tried to send a private message to Betrich43 I end up at a page telling me I don't have appropriate access...
