    How do I install a studor mini vent under a bath room sink
    I want to install a Studor mini vent under my bathroom sink to stop odors that sometimes come up from the drain.

    I agree with the install Tom gave you but question the effectiveness. The Studor vent works on negative pressure and odors coming back up under pressure from another line will not be reduced by a Studor. If the drain is "burping" you have a blocked vent and the Studor will do nothing.

    Are you certain they are even allowed in your area, check with your building code inspector first.

    Where elsewhere to put the AAV? As for back pressure causing a problem that will never happen because the AAV has a check valve to prevent it. Cheers, Tom

    Didn't say back pressure would cause a problem. "Odors come up from the drain". How will a Studor help prevent odor from sewer gas coming back up. It will just vent through the P-Trap.
