    Fluctuating HCG levels
I had an IVF on last month 24th. 3 embryo transferred. My HCG level was 60 after 15 days. But it came down to 6.5 after a week. Now it is 40(after 3 more days). Can I still be prwgenant?

    Hi vdjoshy,

Yes, it could mean that you are still pregnant. Your doctor will check the level again to see if it continues to rise. Since you had 3 embryos transferred, it's quite likely that they didn't all take, which would be very common. If one has implanted successfully, that can account for the change in levels. If level goes down again, or does not rise as expected, that would be a concern.

Right now it is waiting to see... wishing you success!

HCG levels [ 0 Answers ]

I had a beta HCG test done last week, which came back negative. To be honest, I was surprised. However, what is even more confusing was the level of the HCG. My level was -1.2. I know she didn't say it was negative at 1.2 because I said to her, after she said it was negative, "So i assume the...
