In your title you wish to remove a shower arm. But in your post it is a showerhead that you are trying to remove. Can you make your post a little clearer? Back to you, Tom

    Hi Triniqueen

I know this shower arm with the "fused ball" on it (see image)...can be easy or hard to get out, for sure! If you want to remove it then you have no choice but to take a pair of pliers and grab the shower arm up close to the wall and spin the arm out! If the arm breaks (and it can happen, but it is rare) then you post back here and we will discuss your next options!

    good luck!

Stick a long handle #2 Phillips screw driver as far as you can up the hole. Grasp the shower arm as close to the wall as possible. Rotate the handle of the screwdriver in a circle counter clockwise.
