How to Troubleshoot a Square-D Pump Pressure Switch | eHow

Your Square-D pump pressure switch is a gray box that is normally mounted to (or near) the water supply pipe, and it has an electrical cable or conduit attached to it.

Remove the grey cover. There are two nuts underneath. Turn the larger of the two clockwise to raise both the cut in and cut off pressures, and ccw to lower those pressures. Don't be timid. Think in terms of one full turn at a time. It's a matter or trial and error to get it where you want it. Most people turn off the breaker when adjusting.
