My hcg level Wednesday was 1276. Friday they were 1273. Sunday they were 1551. Had ultrasound Friday only showed a sac, no yolk. nothing yet? My concern is am I and this baby going to be OK? I go for more blood work tomorrow. If it rises the doctor says we should be good to go. I'm just concerned. I do not feel any pain. I feel completely fine just normal pregnancy stuff. Please help.

How many weeks are you meant to be ?

Hi momagain607,

It sounds as though you are in just the first few weeks or so of pregnancy. Often not much will be seen early on with an ultrasound. If your levels go up, your doctor will also likely have another ultrasound done at about 5-6 weeks, when more can be seen. Most likely with a transvaginal scan. You will know more after the next blood work. Wishing you a smooth pregnancy!

I tested positive April 14th and my periods are so irregular last mnth though I thought I had a miscarriage which is why they decided to test my levels now my girlfriend just had a baby and she said her levels were lw the whole time the doc says mine are raising slw too

Very early for testing to be conclusive, often they cause more stress than they do good. Why did you think miscarriage ? No two pregnancies are the same, trying to compaire you to friend, is only going to confuse. Women different signs, different pains, different levels.

Because when I bled I passed 2 pieces of tissue I know they were tissue and not clots because they did not dissolve, I called the e.r but they told me I was mostly like really early and that they are not concerned unless I'm bleed very heavily or almost hemorrhaging but I took plenty of pregnancy test and all negative until I took this last one the doc today said could be possible ectopic but they said that with my daughter too because I was early when I found out I was pregnant with her and all they saw a first was a cyst can a cyst and a sac be the same thing I'm praying really hard that I'm just early

I went back today and my hcg rose to the 1700's they want me to go back Monday for more blood and u/s Tuesday she said she thinks it may b ectopic but I don't think that is true

Normally you would see a bigger increase, which the lack of can be a possible sign of an ectopic pregnancy, but sometimes levels are just slow to rise. Hopefully all will be well when you get the ultrasound on Tuesday. At that time they will be able to determine the location. Wishing you well!

Docs aren't sure yet but think I might have ectopic pregnancy but I don't think so. I have no pain no bleeding and I'm slightly showing in my stomach. My question is if it was ectopic would you show in your stomach?

What did the last blood work and ultrasound show? No, if the pregnancy was in a fallopian tube (most likely site for an ectopic pregnancy), you would start having symptoms. The pregnancy wouldn't be able to proceed far enough for you to start showing.

Okay... I was jumping ahead thinking those were happening this week. If they did see a gestational sac in the uterus, it would be unlikely to also have an ectopic... possible, but not likely. The hcg would usually rise as expected. Again, without experiencing any other symptoms, it may just be a slow rising hcg starting out.

So yesterday I started spotting after some activity I called the doc she said don't worry unless I bleed through a pad every hr and have pain once again I have no pain and the spotting wasn't enough to fill a tissue I just can't wait for Monday I need answers u know

Also just had very gentle sex and had some more light bleeding

OK I'm still blkeeading only a little no pain got my blod today they rose to 2291 u/s tmw

Slow rise, but at least it went up. The ultrasound will let you know for certain one way or the other. Hope it all goes well and smoothly for you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's not easy. I've been there.

Don't give up hope. I know that's not a helpful platitude at this time, but really, it's the best you can do. Loss does happen. It's not easy to deal with, but you will feel better after time.

I've had three pregnancies, and I have two healthy beautiful children. It will happen for you, have faith.
