How long after you are arrested can they hold you Belmont County Ohio?
A female friend of mine called the cops in Belmont County Ohio on her boyfriend on Saturday at 5:oo am for hitting her. The police came and arrested him. Now she is worried that he is going to lose his job. How long will it take for him to see a judge and get bond. I know he should have never hit her and deserves everything he gets, but I don't think he should lose his job.

Call the clerk of court and ask when he will be arraigned.
It is not unusual in most places to keep suspects arrested over the weekend to some time on Monday, or even the next day or so. If he is convicted, I wouldn't be surprised if he will be given some time in jail, so losing his job is a distinct possibility. |
