How to make payment to IRS?
    Hello,
I am a student on F1 visa in US - I prepared my tax return and turns out I owe some money to IRS - How do one make payment to IRS?

I see there is an option to make payment online but once I make the payment online do I need to update Line 62 on my 1040NR? And make the line 73 zero? And then sign/file this tax return?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks,

The EASIEST way is to simply send a check or money order with the return. Make the check/money order to UNITED STATES TREASURY, print "Form 1040NR" on the check, and print your SSN on the check.

If you pay online, make NO adjustments to the return, but merely print off a receipt for the payment and paper clip it to the return.
