    Trane heat pump xe 800
    What's the amps and coil voltage on my compress contactor. Its stuck and need to be replaced. But no information on contactor.

    Coil voltage is 24 volts. Amp rating could be either 30 or 40 depending upon capacity of the heat pump. A 40 would work for either but is more expensive.

I have a Trane XE 800 heat pump. The AC cycle works fine but now we have switched over to heat and the AC will not disconnect outside. I have since flipped the breaker on the outside unit and we are runnning the AUX heat until we can figure out why. Please help. Thanks.
