    How to replace leaking angle stops?
    I have these in my house and they are leaking. How do you replace?

    Hi ddgocall

    See if there is a grayish collar on the back side of the shutoff. If there is a grayish collar, shut off the water and depressurize the system and then push the grayish collar in 'till it butts up tight to the shut off valve and then PULL the entire shut off valve off the pipe.

    If there is no grayish collar, then some people will simply crush these off...that, or you can cut the pipe off and install a new COMPRESSION shutoff valve if you have copper, cpvc, or PEX tubing!
