Question about fuse box and running sub panel
I'm looking to run a 60amp subpanel from my 100amp fuse box to my attached garage, about 40 ft away. My question is... I know the older styled glass type fuses come in only 30amp max. How would safely run that 60amp 240v line to the sub panel?
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

You use tube fuses but much better to have someone install a new breaker box and go from there. Don't try to circumvent an old fuse box and endanger your house.
