Well, we're hoping to get these movies, too
So, you guys :), that I'm absolutely and positively sure that I'm not the only one on the Internet who's hoping to somehow get the TV versions of certain movies ;), you know the ones where that when you watch them on TV that they somehow have added in deleted scenes (in good quality or not) and/or musical numbers (good or not) that no one else knows about and that they do mostly add to the movie itself instead of taking away from it and that apparently they're very difficult to get our hands on one way or another, and that so far the only few of them that I still know about are these ones right here:

    01. "StepMonster" (besides censoring it, that they apparently had added in scenes mainly nicely bringing the "love interest" subplot to a close, and yet leaving after that ambiguous :})

    02. "Look Who's Talking Too" (yeah, that the "Alternative Versions" bit there pretty much covers it already :})

    03. "Home Alone 1" (all that I do know about this one is that someone else online, I had thought that it was "The Usual Suspect" on YouTube but I guess not :\, who had mentioned about it also having a part to the grocery shopping scene where that that clerk woman calls over the manager of the store to talk to Kevin as well, or something like that, huh :})

Yeah, that it had also nearly done this with certain other ones like "Midas Touch" and "The Incredible Mr Limpet", but that all they did to them was shorten them for time constraints no doubt. Well, in the meantime, if that you guys want to add to this very short list of these mysteriously shortened and never re-lengthened movies, definitely go for it, and that most of all, that if any of you guys know where to purchase the longer TV versions of these movies I definitely won't be the only one on the Internet very appreciative to find out where, huh friends 8-)? >Danny<

I'm so confused - what are you looking for? Original versions of those movies, as in the theatrical releases? Or the edited TV versions? Or TV versions that you think have more scenes in them than the original theatrical release?

Well, Al, that I'm assuming that it's about the second one - the "edited TV versions" of these movies, or that it at least seems that way, since that the others online seem to think that it's those versions of those movies as well, huh :\? >Danny<

Danny, a good place to look is at a store on-line or brick & mortar. I know Amazon.com has StepMonster. I haven't looked for the others.

Bargain bins, used bookstores, etc. are other places.

Read the descriptions on the cases/movie info to find the versions you are looking for. Pay attention to words such as 'Director's cut', 'extended release', and 'anniversary specials'.

Yes, Cat, that that is still more helpful anyway :), and that I will try for that instead ;), although that so far the closest that I've come to it is that when I try for that extended version of "Look Who's Talking Too", that all I seem to find out is that the actual DVD version that we all get is eighty-one minutes long and the previous DVD version(s) and/or the VHS version(s) is ninety-six minutes long, so yeah :\, but that when I try to get one of those from those guys over at Amazon, that apparently they're too busy to actually look at the physical copy of it to tell me more about what it actually says on it, or something like that, huh :(? >Danny<
