Home heating and dhf with one tankless

Hi I was planning on buying a 2 familyhome currently with oil heat and hot water. I wanted to design an indirect heating and hot water driven by a 10gpm tank less water heating. I would do this using thermostat pumps and heat exchangers . I wanted to know if I did this would it be allowedin tterms of the plumbing code. I would keep the dhw and the heating loop separate.
