    Are Philco and Nordyne furnaces the same product? Philco door, Nordyne #s
    Are Philco and Nordyne furnaces the same product? The cover door of my furnace identifies unit as Philco, however interior lables which is the location of the serial and model numbers identifies the product as a Nordyne. Model #KG6RC-100C 16B, Serial # KGD 071208799.

    Philco, Tappan, Air Temp, & several other brands are all the same & made by Nordyne.

    Not uncommon to find mixed names from the same mfgr. I used to do some contract work at Whirlpool. On the same line at the exact time were Whirlpool and Kenmore washers. Slightly different case and pushbutton,that was it.
