Diverter valve with simple thermostat wiring?
I am running a very simple back boiler to a few rads with an open header tank. I want to divert the water when it gets too hot to my indirect hotwater cylinder. So I was thinking of adding a diverter valve simply wired to a thermostat so that when the temperature in the pipes gets to a certain amount it will divert the water to the tank as if it is an extra radiator. The plumbing of all this is simple and I am happy to undertake it but wiring a simple thermostat to the diverter valve is new to me. Is this a simple operation? Can you point me in the direction of a wiring diagramme to satisfy this model?
    Thank you

Exactly what "diverter valve" are we talking about here? Please provide manufacturer and model #. Thanks!

It will be a 3-way motorised valve, but I haven't purchased one yet, so will get which ever you recommend.

My shower has three knobs and the one in the middle diverts the water flow from the tub spout to the shower. I think that means I have a 3 valve diverter valve, if not please correct me. When I turn the diverter knob so that the water comes out of the shower, there is still significant water...

I was washing the dishes and when I went to press to spray nozzle, no water came out. Then when I went to use the faucet, no water came out as well. I think this may have to do with the diverter in the spray nozzle? What are your thoughts? And how do you remove the spray nozzle?
