    Drains backing up
Shower stall drain in basement is backing up, substance looks like dirt, will drain, but very slowly. Sink in basement drains slowly and seems to affect the shower backup.

    Hi Mary

What happens if you drain a full load of laundry... does it back up into the sink and/or shower? If you are unsure then please fill the washer and force it to drain and observe the shower and sink.

    Let me know more...
