    Pelvic pain at 9.5 weeks
    Hi,
    I am 9.5 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing a lot of pelvic pain as well as lower back pain. I did have very light spotting around 8 weeks but lasted a very short time. I have not had any bleeding since then, but lots of pelvic pain. Its not a sharp pain, it is more of an aching throbbing pain that comes and goes. But sometimes lasts all day and night. I've been told it could very well just be everything growing and stretching which makes perfect sense. Any pain in concerning though. This is my very first baby and took over a year to conceive. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Have you went to the doctor and been examined for this, and talked to him ? Every pregnancy can be different

    Your body is preparing for the growing baby. There is a hormone called Relaxin that relaxes the pelvic muscles and joints to accommodate for the growing baby. This is all relatively normal. What would be concerning is abdominal pain and cramping.
