Leg spasms for over a week
It started as just feeling like a Charlie horse one night laying in bed, but its been happening for over a week now. Each day the cramps/spasms become longer, more frequent, and more painful. I have tried increasing electrolyte intake and introducing potassium pills. Is this something I should seek medical attention for?

Try quinine first (in the pain section, might be a 'leg cramp' label), and soak in a hot tub before you go to bed. Keep your legs warm. Wear socks to bed. If someone can massage, that's good too.
Then see sports med doctor if you can find one. Mainstream doctors might give you muscle relaxants.

EDIT: I see that the FDA warms against quinine now, because it can cause side effects in some people.
You can still buy tonic water, which is carbonated water with quinine in it.
Try this: www.StopsLegCramps.com for another natural remedy.

Get a good quinine. I got some from dollar General and it didn't do a thing. At bedtime take potassium, magnesium and D 3. Also soaking in bath salts like dead sea or Epsom helps

Are you on any medications? Certain meds, like statons for cholesterol, can cause the issues you describe.

N0Help, the FDA now warns against using quinine.
