    Water line size
    1 inch meter, 1/2 mile, 80 psi, will 1 inch work?

    If a 1 inch meter is all they have then there is no reason to put in larger pipe since the limiting factor is the meter. 1/2 mile is a long way with some friction expected. If they will give you a larger meter, I would go with that. 80# is low pressure to start with, most city utilities run 100 #or more, reduced to 50-60# at your house.

    The correct answer to this question will be determined by the number of fixtures in the home, including any outside faucets and if there will be an outside sprinkler system.

    Here, you would need to tell us exactly what and how many fixtures you are planning on having (tubs, showers, sinks, toilets, washing machine, laundry faucet, outside faucets, etc.) and how many shower heads/body sprays and/or Jacuzzi/whirlpool tubs you will have installed. As noted above, if you plan on an outside sprinkler system, the number of sprinkler heads would need to be known as well.

    Once all of that information is known an answer can be ascertained!
