How deep can you use pvc pipe in a well
My current well pump is set at 400' and it goes dry in summer, with a small pressure tank and a dole flow valve I can get .5 gpm to a cistern. This summer that is going dry as well.
Going to have a new well drilled to 625' pump set around 500' depending on static level, question is can I use sched. 80 the whole distance, if not galvanized at the top with pvc below? (I have 400' of galvanized about 5 yrs old in old well)
Would punch the old hole deeper but pumphouse is on top of it plus an extra set up fee from the driller. Beside that I have grown very tired of that hole! Thanks

Don't know what the depth limit would be for PVC. Have you researched the use of flexible well pipe?

What connections? All one length. One brand showing 1" has 3000# tinsel strength another 1650.

Looks like good stuff, can a pitless be used? One check valve at the pump with the break off for pump removal? Is there a torque arrestor and spacers to keep wire and hose from chaffing on casing? Where can a guy get this stuff? Pump has a 1 1/4" outlet, 1" flex pipe o.k. And... cost? Thanks for your time. Definitely a option. Thanks!
