Harbor Breeze Avian fan -- how do you remove light cover?
Harbor Breeze Avian Ceiling fan.. how do you remove the light cover? We can't see any screws, clips, etc. The lens doesn't rotate, and it doesn't seem to 'pop off' when gentle pressure is applied. We need to replace the bulb, so how do you get the darn thing OFF?

If anyone else runs into this issue, here's the answer that I got from calling the 1-800 number I found in one of the other answers. You have to push IN gently on the lens so that it will rotate to the right or left just enough to where the notch on the lens will match up with a groove on the housing (or vice versa, she wasn't clear on this). When the notch and groove match up, the lens will drop off in your hand.

The 1-800 number seems to be a good deal. I had a very short wait on hold, and the person who answered was friendly, courteous, and had an answer for me right away.

Thank you. Worked perfectly. Rotated and globe came off. Now I just got to find a 1000 watt bulb to go in it. Lol
