Briggs and stratton 19.5hp engines
I have a briggs 19.5hp model 310000 intek engine. It was running fine then finished, went to start again engine started and has been running extremely rough. I thought the spark plug since when I pulled it out it was completley black from fuel. Replaced the plug and no difference. Did notice on the carb there is what appears to be an electronic choke?? When I disconnect that the engine runs fine until bowl is empty however when I hook it back up the engine will continue to run but extremely rough

Hi,

I am having trouble starting my snowblower, equipped with a Briggs & Stratton L-Head engine. It kicks back viciously, and has broken two pull cords this fall, in trying to get it ready for the winter season. Any ideas? Cheers, Scotspride
I just got a 28v707 12.5 hp rider. It doesn't start but turns over almost excessively easily. I have a weak spark but no attempt to catch even with starter fluid. No seen problems with the flywheel or the key.
