I would say this has been going on for at least 10 years.. It started when I was home alone and I heard a child yell Mommy... I was all along kids were at school. At one time I LOVED watching ghost hunters and now I know that I could have invited this in. I have never done anything to conjure any spirits but I do believe they are real.
Growing up I lived next door to a Parapsychologist and she had told me I had a gift and with practice I could be like her. Now I never practiced anything.. It all kind of freaks me out to be honest. But since that voice 10 years ago we have had lots of things happen. Things moving, footsteps, voices and that feeling of being watched.
4 years ago we moved into an old farm house that was built back around the civil war.My kids hated the house and you always had the feeling of being watched. I called out a paranormal team and they got apparitions and EVP's and deemed the house had paranormal activity. They cleansed the house but nothing changed, I then contacted a psychic online and she had me send a photo of our house and she called me and told me to go outside to talk. She then told me it was a lower level demon and to not talk about it in the house and we had to stand as a family together to cast it away.. we read scripture and prayed nothing worked. It started scratching my daughters and we decided to move. I left all mirrors behind (psychic recommended) We moved 5 states away and things were great for about 3 years then that feeling came back of someone watching you. We moved again for my husbands job and things have been fine till this week. I have seen shadows, movement of a small child in reflections and last night I kept getting woken up and felt like something standing over me. I get this feeling when I am driving or in my house. I am ready to be done with this. Is is possible that I am attracting these spirits like my neighbor did? In 10 years we have lived in 4 houses and voices, shadows, etc have been in all 4.
Please help.

Not since we moved to this house.. but we did have a team come 2 houses ago. They did cleanse the house but the entity was still there.
Also I forgot to say that when this started we were renting a house that a teenager committed suicide in. We found this out 6 months after moving in and my girls were telling me that they saw red lights fly through there walls. Beds would move.. I was held down and shook while in bed.. gently but still scary. Anyway since that house it has been pretty constant so I think its either that boys spirit or a lower level entity that was feeding off that boys depression.. either way I just want it gone.

Ghost hunters can not even beyond science doubts even prove ghosts, let alone get rid of them. And I could tell you about the phone people, they will hire anyone, who has the ability to bull people and keep them on the phone longer to add up money.

Also the being held down in bed is a physcial issue that happens to many people and has nothing to do with ghosts.

I am sure after you called in all the ghost hunters the children were scared to death and allow their imagination to go wild at this point.

The religious side ( don't see you even mention that) is the only way to cleanse a house, and it only works if you really have faith and believe, or they will just come back

I'm with Chuck. The spiritual side of this is that not everybody has the true ability to cleanse and vanish spirits. Assuming something really is there with you, there is a lot of fallacy in what you mention. Mentioning names of entities, getting rid of mirrors... that is all superstition. The only thing superstition is good for is empowering the entity that is there by giving it fear and ignorance... which is what they thrive on. They don't thrive on energy, they thrive on emotions that you give to them.

You did mention reading scripture and praying, which has it's place, but when performed in ignorance completely loses it's power over such situations. If you're looking to the bible for help in this area, you are first and foremost skipping the parts that forbid activity with psychics and other such spiritualists... you are also missing the parts that explain how and why a person has authority to remove a spirit. It is ONLY for those who have a relationship with Christ and more importantly on that, those that BELIEVE Christ's authority will function through them. The bible and prayer are not wards that simply vanish spirits. This is why you see so many backfires when people try to cleanse and bless a home. You still see a lot of it in the Christian community, simply because people are acting upon spirituality in ignorance.

If you want this completely out of your lives, there is definitely hope for you. However, God does not run a charity hospital in that he comes in for free, vanishes all evil and then takes off living you to go living life as you wish. God requires change from us. I'm not saying this is something you DID that allowed them to come to you, but there is typically a reason they are allowed to attach to someone. True and pure freedom from this can very likely mean turning around the way you think about the spirit world.
