    Pumptrol pressure switch adjustment
I am having problems with the Chlorinator not sending chlorine to the house. My unidose pump is working find its about 16 years old but I have been servicing it yearly with new parts and the water softener is working find. I can see the chlorine coming through the tube from the pump but I am only getting one cut off/in pump at a time from the pumptrol pressure switch. Is this the way the pump should be working? Or do I need to replace it? I need fast help because I am getting a lots of iron in the water in the house.

    Thanks,Gadgetman64

Actually, the smaller control sets the differential amount between the low and high cutoffs, that is usually a 20lb difference, such as 30lbs "turn on" to 50lbs "turn off" (the default factory settings), or 40-60, or 45-65, etc. and you really should not mess with it. Just adjust the longer...
