My staffy had her first litter 3 days ago and every time a pup crys or moves away she crys also when they move far away from her she crys until I give her the pup back she won't get it herself please help

She's still weak and tired, just as you would be. The pups will find their way back. You don't need to keep picking them up. Let her mother.
Put cardboard boxes around the edges with a space for her to walk in and out, and newspapers around her bed for the pups to pee and poop.

I agree they need to be boxed so that they don't wonder away. 3 days is too early for you to be picking them up. They need that time sort of like bonding time with their mom

You should be holding puppies from the minute they take their first breath... its called imprinting.

Just because dogs have babies, doesn't make them a good mom. You need to basically hold her hand through this and monitor how she interacts and doesn't interact with these pups. If she is not gathering her wandering puppies, than you may wake up to a dead puppy.

Not all animals make good mothers. Mother Nature will take over and the strongest puppy with the strongest instinct to stay close to mom will survive. If you want all your puppies to survive, you need to be around 24/7 until they are old enough to care for themselves (Around 4wks of age).

Just like humans, not all dogs are cut out to be good moms. Sometimes it's due to age, or how the dog was raised. It could also be due to illness.

How old is the mother dog?

So how much handling newborn puppies is okay? When I type handling newborn puppies in Google it says they should be handled as little as possible until their eyes are open. I see too many kids that want to play rather roughly with pups.
I tried typing the imprinting and it said you should go with how the mother is. If she is as the OP says then its okay. If the dog is overly protective of her pups then you should gradually.

KIDS shouldn't handle the puppies.. but adults can start handling them and holding them... If you have kids in the home who want to play with the newborns, then as a RESPONSIBLE parent, you need to say NO and mean it. Kids need to learn how to act around babies of any species... I would think THAT is common sense!
