    Shy Staffy puppy
    I just bought an 8 week old staffy and he seems to be having similar problems. The whole family has been treating him so well but he doesn't want to come when called and always shys away and hides. He's eating and pottying fine so don't understand the anti social behaviour. Had him for over a week now. The weird thing is he was very playful in the first few days. Need advice please :(

    Hi Peter, I have moved your question to it's own thread.
    It's best not to piggyback on old questions.

    To me it sounds like you have a timid puppy.
    He will warm up to you and your family eventually but odds are he will always be timid.
    Did you meet his parents?

    Was he fine when you got him or was he still a little nervous?

    Has anything happened to him in the week you have had him?
