    Pink '59 GE Wall Oven Element troubles...
    When I turn the oven to bake, the top element comes on instead of the bottom. The bottom doesn't look like its out, so I don't understand why the top comes on instead of the bottom. When it's on broil same thing applies. Is the bottom element out or is this a much bigger problem? Thanks!

    Get a volt/ohm meter and test the elements. You cannot guess with electrical appliances. It's all in what the meter says, not "what it looks like."
