Hair blonde from brunette

Okay so I've dyed my hair like billions of times in the past and its currently brunette but because its had so much bleach and dye on it its faded to a copper colour so because its faded would I be able to dye it blonde easier? Would I have to bleach it or get highlights or foils or what I have no idea. I really don't want to be any more coppery I just want to be blonde someone help! :(
