Old coleman mobile home thermostat
I have a mobile home that has an old Coleman electric heat and air that has the heat and cool switch on the furnace... the problem is when I switch it to heat the thermotstat works fine BUT when I switch it to cool the A/C will only come on when I turn the thermostat up and I have to turn it down to make the A/C go off...

Have a coleman evcon furance for mobile home.I have replaced both heating elements. The heat will not come on. When I turn it on 'ON' AND heat on thermostat it works but doesn't heat up. When I turn it on auto on thermastat it comes through motions on unit but doesn't come on at all.
With the thermostat disconnected, furnace keeps running. With the thermostat connected and turned way down, the heat and blower continue to run. The furnace will continue to run until shut off at the breaker. When the breaker is turned on again, the furnace will come on automatically. What can I do...
