    Trane xe78 hvac
I have a trane xe78 40,000 BTU HVAC unit in my second floor attic. When I try to turn on the A/C, you can hear a couple of clicks and begin to hear the compressor pushing freon through the lines but the air handler blower fan does not come on. I have waited up to two minutes and still no fan. The control module seems to be flashing normally and all connections seem secure. It doesn't work on the heat side as well. Any advice would be appreciated.

You could have a bad fan motor or maybe as simple as a bad capacitor for the fan motor. Do you have a volt meter & know how to use it?
