    Installed new motor and fan in heat pump, it will not start
    Replaced fan and motor and start capacitor in Pool heat pump. It will not start. Large capacitor is leaking a small amount of sticky black fluid at top, it is placed upside down in holder.?

    If the capacitor is leaking, it is no good & needs to be replaced.
