    Move away
My ex husband and I had an agreement over 6 months ago that he would let me move to Orange County from San Diego County. The agreement was as follows:

For 2 months I would bring him down every weekend because he didn't have a car and was saving up for it. Well 6 months have passed and I was still giving him a chance in bringing our son down. I asked over and over on several occasions when he was going to purchase a vehicle and he said that he didn't have any money. Well that wasn't the agreement, He works a full-time job lives with his mom, dad, 3 sisters and 2 brothers plus all of their kids, pays only $500 rent, has no car payment. I finally fed up with it when my daughter was born 2 months ago. It was getting harder and harder not to mention financially because he didn't help me with the gas or maintenance of my car. I told him last week that I wasn't going to do it anymore because he was taking advantage of me and not even saving up for a vehicle. He told me that I was going to pay for it, that he was going to take me to court and say that he never gave me permission to move and that he was going to take our son away.

    Is that possible?? :(

I hope that the agreement was in writing. Otherwise it is just his word against yours. Unless you have witnesses who can verify the information.

Is he paying any child support? If he is, you can ask the court, or whoever is the authority for changing child support obligations where the divorce was filed, to change the amount of child support that he will have to pay.

Lets go back to the divorce and the custody agreement. What did it say? What visitation rights was he given? Do you have any proof of this agreement?

The likelihood of his getting the custody agreement modified over this is small. He certainly can try though
