    Kinkee Extension Cord...
    Any DIY remedy's to taking the kinks out of an extension cord? Aside from a couple of Ooops Moves and a trip to the local hardware store to get a couple male / female plugs.. The one time 50ft. Cord is full of kinks , I whined the cord up wrist to elbow method, the cord has to be about 8 yrs old now... Thanks

    You may be able to lay it out in the Sun as straight as you can, then pull straight again after it heats up.
    When I roll up a 50 footer, and others, I will lay it out and have the cord twist with each turn as you are wrapping around your arm, I do this quickly and you will see loops rolling torwards you, and cord will roll up with out twisting.

    You could lay them out in the sun to help get the twists out. With larger cords (100 ft) I like to roll them up more loosely than the wrist/elbow method, it is harder for them to twist up that way.
