    Identify vintage cake set
    I have a vintage cake serving set. Marked Bavaria. Any information at all would help. I do know that it was a wedding present to my parents in 1927. I wish I could figure out how to download pictures.

    You might want to search on Bavaria on eBay under Pottery and Glass (as well as Collectibles) where there are literally 10s of thousands for sale. It's a region of Germany where countless patterns were made and values can range tremendously. It would help to have another mark or mark, or even a gold or silver handpainted letter.

    To download a picture go to quick answer box, look below box and you will see 'Go Advanced".
    Click on 'Go Advanced' then type message in larger box, then look below box and 'manage "
    That will take you to a small window with several options. You will probably use the very first option where you can load up to three pictures. Just click on box to the right and it will pull you're my pictures up. Scroll through your picture files then click on picture you want to post.. and follow through.

    This is a cake set bought for my parents on their wedding in 1927. I has a pearlized finish. I have always loved it. There were 6 small plates, but now only 4, plus the large, handled cake plate. Does anh\yone recognize the mark?
    Thanks

    J B & W were New York importers who imported pottery & porcelain from 1907-1928.
    I can't tell you more than that.

    There are a few pieces of this artist found on the internet, but not this one. Is his work of any value? Is there any info on his style of work or what sort of printing he did for this piece? It is really stunning. Thanks for your help;
