    Toilet has a slow flush
I bought a manufactured home with two bathrooms. Both bathrooms have Mansfield 160s. The main bathroom has its original Hardware and flushes fine. In the master bathroom the hardware in the tank has been replaced with fluid master flush valve and fill valve. When you flush the tank empty completely the bowl fills up to the rim and then goes down slowly. If I put a plunger in the bottom of the bowl to block the toilet, flush the toilet till the bowl fills and remove the plunger the bowl will empty with a WOOSH. What could be causing the problem?

Bowl filling up to the rim after flush indicates there is an obstruction inside the bowl itself. You can do one of the two things:

    1. Take a plunger and plunge the toilet
    2. Take 5' auger snake and snake the bowl

    That should help

Thanks Milo. After doing more research, it turns out it was the siphon jet that was clogged. Deliberately clogged with wood putty. After removing the clog the toilet flushes beautifully. Thanks again for your advice

To flush my toilet on the lower level of my home you must continually hold the handle down until all the water is gone. If you don't it will stop flushing. I have a Kohler one piece toilet. It is about 4-5 yrs. Old and flushed fine until recently. With any waste in the bowl it is not taking it all down. I took the cover off and the water is at the proper level in the tank. Is is possible there could be a blockage internally?
