    I have a stabbing pain in my right thigh, it just came on all of a sudden
    About an hour ago I have been getting a stabbing pain in my right thigh, it only last a couple seconds but it makes me jump and gasp, it comes on like every 5 minutes

    The most common major thigh pain is sciatica, irritation of the sciatic nerve, which goes down the back of the leg from the spine. Other than that, please be more specific. Keep in mind that there are countless nerves going down the legs, and it is often impossible to identify one nerve even in person. Usually you take a hot bath and rest and massage your thigh and take Tylenol and it goes away.

    It just came on all of a sudden while I was sitting, it last about a couple seconds and then goes away but it makes me gasp and jumpit kind of on the side of my right thigh, I was just wondering if I should be alarmed that it could be a bllod clot
