    Are you talking about the schrader valve on top of the tank? If so, get a schrader removal tool and replacement schrader, they simply screw out of the valve stem and thread in the new one.

    You can get one at an auto parts store. It's the same little valve used in car tire valves.

I have a Aqua Air Model V60 pressure tank. When water is used, the pump runs and after it stops, water comes out of the safety valve (about half a cup). The pressure gauge above the safety valve shows 62 psi. Tank is showing 44 psi. Do I need to replace the safety valve?
