    Gas furnace turns off after a minute or two
    My friend has a honeywell Century gas furnace. The pilot light is on. Furnace will start up, flame and blower, but then shuts off after only a minute or two.

    Does just the flame shut off, or both the flame and blower? If just the flame, It sounds like the furnace is overheating and the high limit is tripping. Check filters and airflow first.
