    Parental rights termination child support
I messed up and was sitting in prison in 1989 when advised that my parental rights were removed and that my ex-wifes new husband had adopted my sons (3). She has continued to receive child support and DHS has now issued a levy on my bank account. My sons are grown and one was killed 6 years ago. Can she still do this and if not how do I stop her and DHS?

Her right to FUTURE support past the date of the adoptions ended at the adoptions... she however was and remains entitled to any arrears you had before the adoptions took place..

Were those ever paid in full? That is a key answer that's needed.
