    Can a lawyer garnish my income tax refund
    I received a letter from an attorney stating that he will garnish me for fee's incurred from his client who sued me, can he?

    Yes, if you have a judgment against you, your taxes can be garnished.

    He also garnish wages, bank accounts, and other assets.
