I moved to Georgia but want to keep my residency in Texas
I accepted a job and moved to Georgia, but plan on returning to Texas in the not too distant future (hopefully). I kept my house in Texas and 2 vehicles and brought 2 with me. I understand the tax implications of paying Georgia state income tax and that is okay. But I want my residency to stay in Texas along with the car titles and drivers license. Can I do that? I will spend time in Texas during the year. Mostly a couple of days each month.

Most states would NOT alow that... if you spend most of the month in Georgia... then you are a Georgia Resident... and they can legally require you to register and title your vehicles there as well as getting your drivers license there.

The only people that can pull that off legally are active duty service members.
