How to lift a detainer in baltimore county
My husband is currently incarcerated and has a detainer due to missing a child support hearing while he was locked up. They sent the notification to his prev address and he clearly didn't get it as he was in jail. Now they have a detainer on him for missing the court hearing. I need to see how to handle this so when he release date comes up they do not rearrest him. I just need to advise someone that he has been incarcerated and that's why he missed the court and I need to get a future court date set so he can resume child support upon his release.

His attorney would ask for a hearing now in family court for this. Evidence would be shown he was in jail at the time of the hearing and ask for a new hearing on this.
But often they won't and he will have to deal with this when he is done with that court
