    Miscarried
    Ok so I miscarried on the 19th & I passed the whole baby sack & all. I stopped bleeding yesterday. I haven't seen an OB yet because I simply don't have the money. How can or would I know if I was carrying twins?

    The time to know if you were carrying twins is way past now; that could only have been determined with an ultrasound while you were still pregnant.

    Stopping bleeding is only half the battle, you need to see a doctor and be checked over to make sure everything is passed, and you need curetage or D&C to clean out your uterus.

    Dilation and curettage (cure-eh-tahge)
    The cervix is dilated, and the uterus is gently scraped of the tissue that has formed on the lining, and if there is an embryo, that will be removed too.
    No, it doesn't hurt at all.

    I see that you miscarried. Only half of women who miscarry need a D & C. If you don't have a fever, I wouldn't worr about it.
