I purchased a home that was built in the late 90's and I am currently remodeling one of the upstairs bathrooms. The ceiling over the tub/shower unit had always looked a little weird to me being slanted from every angle from the unit to the ceiling, well when I removed the sheetrock I saw the issue and the issue is that they ran the 3 inch vent line that goes through the ceiling into the attic and out the roof over at a 45 degree angle I don't see a reason for this but I am not confident with cutting because I am not sure what would happen to the line currently running through the roof and what to do if something happened to it. If you have some suggestions for taking this vent more staright up through the ceiling and then turning it to meet the part that goes through the roof I would appreciate the input. I have a picture but could not figure out how to attach

We get a "sputtering" of water pressure when we turn on the shower. It flows, but not a strong steady stream. However, if you then turn on the faucet in the sink in the bathroom while the shower is going, the shower flow goes back to a steady stream. Sometimes it will go back to the "machine...
