    Yes.. gaps at the curved radiator.. where it comes up the back.. and.back front between the rad and fan and corners... nooooo.. I did not fill in any gaps.. holes etc in the heat exchanger... thank you for your concern... I don't know how to get a link for a photo.. I could e mail you some if you like... wonder why we can't do pictures on here ?

    I think you can attach pictures by clicking on the square icon with mountains on it. Said icon is in the header of the quick answer box. If that doesn't work, you can open an account (free) with photobucket.com or similar photo sharing site, post your pictures on there, & provide a link to the photo album here.     Kaowool also behind the exhaust tube and between the fan and exhaust
    There is a lose of hot comeing through the squarle cage fan... from the heat exchanger... guess thts normal.. picks come from... go advanced then click on the paper clip.. etc... tks my friend

    Great pictures, thanks. Pictures are nearly always a help.

    That is an old CMF. Beckett hasn't used Wayne burners in years, thankfully. I think that burner is an MS series. I understand your concern about the heat but I'm reluctant to stuff the kaowool in there for fear it might get sucked into the blower.

    Yes very old but very simple to work on... some older things with less safety stuff is eaiser to work on... just like today's cars... can't do much to them.. older cars.. points n plugs and clean oil... your good to go...
    On the furnace... few yrs ago the drive shaft.. whatever... from the motor to the pump broke
    Like a tube... I replaced that... I also use a 55 gal barrow for a little heat n to burn some mail... pick latter... tks my friend... richard
