I have programmed for 20° at 9am. Heat didn't turn on until 948am. The entire time since 9am the stat was calling and showing heating on display but furnace wasn't on?

It may be a stat issue, but not likely. More likely would be that there is a problem with the furnace itself. You can bypass the stat (strictly for trouble shooting purposes) by removing the stat and jumping r to w. If the furnace failed to function correctly when this is done, you have a furnace problem, not a stat problem. If this is the case, we will need to know exactly what is happening at the furnace when there is a call for heat (r and w jumped). The more detail you can give, the better we can try to help. Otherwise, it is time to call in an onsite tech.
